Description:

Scope
The principle scope of the four-day workshop is to provide sufficient foundation and understanding about the concepts of the True Self and False Self. What are they? What are their purposes? How can we work with them for our own awakening?
Gaining this clarity helps us awaken from often painful and unconscious habits and patterns. As we awaken we begin to see this False Self clearly and learn about its destructive and self-sabotaging tendencies. As we see clearly (without judgment), we are given an opportunity to experience liberation from our unconscious habits and patterns that spin us into the repeating dramas that we experience in our lives.

Methods
In this workshop, we use high-level principles of sacred geometry in combination with other powerful techniques such as breath work, movement, posture practice, meditation, and more, combined with a practice of Taoist Yoga called Sundao. The intention behind the combination of these practices is to clearly see the False Self and begin to unlock from its influence. When we do, it stops obscuring the True Self, which then begins to emerge and unfold as a flower in the sun. We will explore five main principles that will help us clearly see, as well as combine them with exercises, lecture, breath work,
meditation, and introspection. This leads to a profound awakening and the beginning process of detaching from our repeating habits, wounds, and fears.
It may seem unusual or unlikely that sacred geometry principles (which are generally seen as left-brained) can be combined with Taoist principles (which are generally seen as embracing formlessness). That is the beauty of this experience; we explore both form and formlessness in the same way that yin and yang work together and compliment each other, leading to complete balance. No prior knowledge of sacred geometry or yoga or Taoism is required. Simply bring your open heart and mind.

Principles and Philosophies
Starting with sacred geometry, we will explore a creation story that brings to light the process in which our false selves come into existence. Through these explorations of the high teachings of geometry, we will begin to reveal the nature of our True Selves and the infinite nature of consciousness itself.
Sacred geometry is a tool, and through it we can see that all of creation began before time, as a fabric that is not subject to the human experiences of aging or dying. In this state before time and the material world, reality is expressed through a collection of paradoxes. These incomprehensible paradoxes were known to the ancients, and through metaphor, symbol, and geometry they were expressed as a way to embody the higher teachings of consciousness. One such idea is a sphere without boundaries - a paradox that brings us closer to universal truth.
This idea and more will be explored - not just intellectually but experientially - as we bring the concepts of yin and yang (and their many manifestations) into our awareness through a series of powerful exercises that can free us from the constraints of duality and into the fluid state of pure unity -- our natural state of being.

Activities
In this workshop you will experience lecture, guided meditation, experiential exercises, personal reflection and meditation, and much more. There will also be breath work and movement as well. All fitness levels are welcome -- this is not a challenging yoga workshop. Exercises can be adapted for anybody condition. We will also be going out in nature to work with the natural energies of Mother Earth, weather permitting we may visit an active power spot to compare and experiment with natural "integrative" energy, this will enhance our experience of opening ourselves, which can facilitate a strong internal integration process.

What to Bring
Be sure to wear comfortable clothing that you can move in (yoga or athletic clothing is perfect). If you have a favorite meditation cushion or pillow to use when you lay down, please feel free to bring it. We also recommend that you bring a yoga mat or something you can use for exercises and meditations. You may bring a notebook to take notes if you wish. For outdoor activities, please bring appropriate clothing for rain or sun, sturdy shoes, and an umbrella if needed.

Short Description:
An original workshop from Ronald Holt, this powerful workshop explores the main paradoxes of awakening -- emptiness and fullness, form and formlessness. To explore these profound truths, we use the tools of sacred geometry (whose teachings include those of form and formlessness) and marry them with the main tenets of Taoist yoga (yin and yang), to offer students a breathtaking glimpse into Creation itself, and their role within it. Not just a sacred geometry or yoga workshop, this experience integrates body, mind, and spirit into the One through a series of lectures, meditation experiences, breath work, and simple yoga postures (available to everyone at any fitness level).

RONALD HOLT - BIOGRAPHY
Ronald Holt began his spiritual training as a teenager in northern California when he devoted himself to a committed practice of Wing Chun Kung Fu. This gave him the foundation of a steady mind, focused thought, and the ability to sense subtle flows of energy. In the late 1970s, as a young man in his early 20s, he began his practice of meditation, even through his tour of duty on an aircraft carrier in the US Navy. Once honorably discharged, he moved to New Mexico (USA) and began a serious study of esoteric spirituality, studying under a teacher and channel outside of Albuquerque. Throughout his life he has always received inspiration and information, but when he was younger he didn’t know how to use it. During the 1980s, he began to receive information regarding the ancient science of sacred geometry – most especially utilizing the wisdom of the platonic solid called the octahedron. His explorations into sacred geometry continued and in the early 1990s he began teaching workshops based on sacred geometry and meditation. He also traveled extensively to sacred sites in the American southwest and Hawaii, and let nature and his inner inspirations teach him what he needed to know for the future.
At this time, he was also working as a marine and field archaeologist for the prestigious Bishop Museum of Honolulu – with projects that took him to all of the Hawaiian Islands and the Marianas Islands (Rota, Guam, Saipan, and Tinian). In this work, he had the great opportunity to work with the Hawaiian medicine people called kahunas, which furthered his education and practice of indigenous spirituality.
In 1997, Ron became the director of Flower of Life Research, an organization that spreads the teachings of sacred geometry and meditation worldwide. He had the responsibility to teach other teachers, develop new programs, and continue teaching his original workshops that uniquely combine meditation, martial arts principles, sacred geometry, and the wisdom of the Earth into profound experiential seminars that are life-changing for participants.
Ron is also a certified teacher of Taoist yoga (Korean Sundoh style), and has trained in Hatha yoga at the master educational level (500 hours). Since his teenage years he has utilized the training he has had in various forms of Kung Fu. Today, he combines his training in the internal martial arts, meditation, sacred geometry, and archaeology with his unique methods to work with opening the human heart. His workshops (sometimes together with wife Lyssa Royal Holt) are inspiring, life-changing, and totally unique. By nature he is a private person who does not feel comfortable “going public”, but his many students continually ask for more. Through the SOLi School, we are thrilled to offer more of his original work. Ron’s workshops tangibly help connect the student to their own source of Divine energy so that they can truly feel their connection to the universe and apply that wisdom to everyday life in an easy, practical way.
