But just before the start a series of comment about the preparation made the headlines: the notorious double toilet, bizarre signs, some doubts about the adequacy of the overall organization. But the smirk about the bean soup and the cabbage served for breakfast were completely out of place.
Olympics are moments when the world meet. To expect eggs and bacon or pancakes for breakfast is to neglect the opportunity to experience Russian habits and life. Should the standard be international and deprived of any character or should the guests be introduced to the local culture? We are for the latter. If in Sochi, let's eat some bean soup for breakfast, first thing in the morning: we may learn that it is particularly good, or unexpectedly suitable for a full morning of work.
