A crane that ended up by mistake in the tigers' enclosure in a Chinese zoo was not only able to survive the event: It managed to fight off its attackers.

A video made by astonished visitors shows the crane first trying to escape. When cornered, it turned around and counterattacked, managing to scare the tigers.

The crane was later rescued by zookeepers and is said to have suffered only minor injuries.
