A growing phenomenon, the dark night of the soul manifests itself for many as apathy, lack of purpose, or the collapse of life as it was previously known. In fact, it can trigger crises, whether they are the loss of a family member, the collapse of one's work, a loss of faith or an accident.

With equal confidence it can be said that some dramas of existence have a soul matrix precisely to induce a state of discomfort capable of creating a sense of emptiness that leads to seeking.
Looking at history we can find its imprint in many, from Beethoven to Emerson, from Madam Curie to Mother Teresa of Calcutta, from St. Francis of Assisi to St. John of the Cross; I venture to speculate that even Dante Alighieri was in this state of prostration just before beginning his Divine Comedy. Not to mention great avatars like Jesus and the Buddha (who had to meditate 40 days and 40 nights in seclusion to expand to their next state of consciousness).
Far from wanting to generalize, it is necessary to clarify that the manifestations of the Dark Night are diversified and depend on a large extent on one's own development: the Dark Night of the one who approaches the spiritual path is not the same as that of an advanced soul, a Saint or a Master. In the first case, when the Dark Night begins its process, it happens according to what in technical terms is called "karmic acceleration", an accelerated purification of one's physical, vital, emotional and mental baggage of past lives, sometimes implying great suffering.
The nature of the Dark Night is different for the more advanced Souls and Saints and Masters, whose Dark Night is reflected more in the lack of the light of knowledge than in their next step and mission.
By eliminating the vagueness of certain widespread mystical concepts, the Dark Night is a state that is immediately recognizable through clairsentience (the ability to scan and sense energy with your hands), once its energetic profile is known.

If it is true that in every expansion of one's being everything that is old and obsolete must disintegrate in order for the next steps to appear, how do we discriminate what must be brought along because it is useful and what is not? But above all, how do we discriminate that one is taking the positive path of evolution, rather than the left path as they say? The solution for humanity is discrimination and right decision making. Where do we align our truth when we have to make a decision? How can we be free from the strong conditioning created by social engineering to control our choices?
How can we be FREE?
I would say by awakening the power of one's Soul, the "I am that I am" and putting one's purpose into action, but I leave the contemplation to you.
