Description:
An experiential voyage to Kerala, to practice yoga and experience the traditional Indian culture. You will get a glimpse of the style of life of this country, seeking to approach it in an authentic and respectful manner. The voyage will also focus on rejuvenating your body, mind, and soul through the practice of Ashtanga yoga and Kalaripayattu (the oldest Indian martial art), Ayurveda treatment, traditional Keralan food, meditation, and chanting of mantras.
This retreat is not a tourist package, but a yoga voyage to India in collaboration with Kesma, the Indian school of the Kalaripayattu master, Jayachandran Nair. KesmaItalia will accompany you on this journey, making the knowledge of the area and experience with the local environment available to you. The focus of the journey is yoga practice, but there will also be free time to visit local places, receive Ayurvedic massage, and relax in front of the sea.

Accommodation
During this retreat, you will be staying at Kappil Paradise Beach Resort. It is a typical guest house on the sea in Kappil, a place that has retained its authenticity and is vastly different from the anonymous resorts of the cliffs. The guest house faces the sea and is about eight kilometers from the more touristy cliffs of Varkala.

Location
This retreat will take place in Kappil, Kerala. It is the cradle of Ayurveda, the traditional medicine of India. You will have the possibility of experimenting with regenerative massage using hot, herb-infused oils in a traditional clinic. The seminar will take place in Kappil, a peaceful place on the sea, not far from the more touristy Varkala and the capital city Trivandrum.
Food
During the retreat, you will be served daily morning tea and delicious brunch and dinner. The meals will be typical South Indian vegetarian food (mild spices).
