Description:

1st course of “Tantra and Dzogchen” program is now open for enrolment.
All aspirants interested in consistent practice of Dzogchen under the guidance of the Teacher, Geshe Rinchen Tenzin Rinpoche, are invited to join the “Pure Lands” School of Tantra and Dzogchen. The first retreat of the first course will be held from Jan 19 to Feb 1, 2016 in “Otkrytyi Mir” (“Open World”) Center, Tulskaya metro station [???????? ?????]

Information about Buddhism can be found in open sources; advanced literature, as well as video recordings of retreats with Teachers, is available on the web. Many Teachers come to Russia to give direct transmissions of the knowledge. But all this information is often seen as mere intellectual knowledge. It is not bad, but it is not enough for Realization.
Realization requires practice and direct experience. Dzogchen Teaching or Great Perfection is the path leading to attainment of Buddhahood in one lifetime. The uniqueness of the Dzogchen Teaching is the Direct Introduction or Direct Transmission by the Teacher, and unbroken lineage is essential. Geshe Rinchen Tenzin Rinpoche, the author of “Tantra and Dzogchen Basics”, is the disciple of His Holiness Kyabje Menri Trizin Lungtok Tenpe Nyima Rinpoche, world spiritual teacher of Yungdrung Bon tradition, the acting abbot of the Menri Monastery and the holder of Yungdrung Bon lineage.
“Tantra and Dzogchen Basics” program will take 3 years to complete, four retreats a year, totaling to 12 retreats. Between the retreats the disciples should observe the individual practice. The program not only allows the direct transmission of knowledge from the Teacher to the disciple, but also implies feedback: the School organizes after-retreat meetings with the Teacher.
In the previous year 86 candidates joined the 1st course of the School; some of them still continue their study according to the Program. Many candidates who missed the 1st and the 2nd retreats could not join the program on a later stage because first stages are mandatory to complete. We now find it necessary to start a new course “Tantra and Dzogchen Basics” in the beginning of 2016. If you want to join the School, please submit your application on the Website http://zemlizemli.ru/shkola/
We hope to be able to organize charity-based retreats in the nearest future; that was the purpose of the Charitable Foundation established as part of the project. As of now, the cost of participation in a retreat is 7000 RUR.
If you have a strong desire to study but have no possibility to make a donation for a good reason, we can consider other conditions of your participation.
