The Need of Real Food

Veganism has exploded in the last few years, with millions of people looking to cut out animal products for both ethical and health reasons. But apparently more and more people are introducing meat back into their meals to help with low energy levels and bloating.

Recurring to fake meat products is the main cause of the unbalanced diet. More and more the meat substitutes are under scrutiny for their ingredients. Processed soy, MSG and mould are top on the list, but they don’t provide the necessary healthy food. A meat-substitute product created in the UK, agreed this year to change its labels after many reports came forward that people were having allergic reactions. These reactions came from the main ingredient in the product, mould, which was not clearly marked on the packaging.

When you decide to go vegan, the most important thing is to rely on real food, starting from raw ingredients possibly cooked at home. Then the full force of the natural nutrients can be put at the service of your wellbeing.
